The blue light at the media player front panel should be on (it indicates that the device is running)
If a system restart is necessary, push that button at the player front panel
After a few seconds the blue light goes out and the media player will be turned off
Re-start the player after a few seconds by pushing that same button
The amplifier should be turned on
Check the indicator light on the amplifier
Make sure the volume on the amplifier is at an audible level as store staff often adjust the volume and forget to set it back
Mark the ideal position of the volume dial on the amplifier - it helps others to determine the right volume level for your store
Make sure the audio connector is plugged into the music player as it occasionally gets pulled out to connect other devices
Make sure the audio cable is plugged into the headphone port
See installation guide for further details
The selected input channel or music source needs to correspond to the plugged input on the back of the amplifier (AUX, Input A, Line 1, etc.)
Try selecting other channels/sources if necessary
See installation guide for further details
Test if the amplifier works properly by connecting it to a different playback device, e.g. mobile phone or mp3 player
Disconnect the audio cable from the media player and instead plug it into the headphone port of the alternative device
